How We Met

We met at a Galentine’s party hosted by a mutual friend on February 17, 2023. I showed up thinking it’d be a chill “spa party” kind of hangout with a few girls… and suddenly there were tons of women I didn’t know, and the vibe was full-on party. Among them were Hannah and her sister. From the moment we saw each other, it was instant sparks. We started chatting about our cultural roots and hobbies, which somehow led me to try out archery with her sister and her roomie, I was basically just testing the waters.

We had a blast, but I thought it would just stay at a friendship level.

Not long after, Hannah texted me to hang out and chat over afternoon tea. In one single sitting, she told me her WHOLE life story. I was speechless and told myself, “This is my kind of woman.” That same day, she taught me how to ride a longboard for the first time… and we shared our first kiss! It was pure magic. From then on, our love kept growing, challenges and all but, the rest is history

The Proposal

On January 5, 2025, for Three Wise Men Day, Brenda surprised Hannah with a scavenger hunt to pop the big question. After about ten minutes filled with tears, hugs, and lots of kisses, Hannah said yes, right at the top of Okanagan Mountain, with an epic winter view all around.
